Goldesburgh Lodge is named after Prioress Anne Goldesburgh who ruled the Priory C1526 and resigned in 1534.
A local village near Knaresborough is also called Goldesburgh.
It is a charming open plan ground floor cottage consisting of a kitchen /dining and lounge. There are 2 bedrooms; one double and one single and bathroom with shower. The sunny french windows open to stunning views across the fields and into a private garden area. From the cottage you have access to a communal Cloisters Garden where you can walk or sit and relax whilst you view the magnificent original 12 century Priory presently under restoration.
It is an unusual feature of each of the cottages that they are themed in different styles. They feature the best from home and Europe. Goldesburgh Lodge has contemporary ENGLISH furniture and soft furnishings and accessories.
